The Role

As Practice Manager, you will play a key role in the smooth day-to-day running of the practice while supporting both the commercial and clinical success of the business.

This role would suit someone who enjoys being hands-on, leading by example, and building strong relationships with both patients and staff.

What your day to day will look like!

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing the daily running of the practice
  • Leading, motivating, and supporting the practice team
  • Managing staff rotas and day-to-day workflow
  • Delivering exceptional customer service and patient experience
  • Supporting the dispensing team when required
  • Monitoring practice performance and helping drive business growth
  • Managing stock levels, frame displays, and supplier relationships
  • Ensuring the practice maintains high operational and presentation standards
  • Handling patient queries and resolving issues professionally
  • Supporting marketing initiatives and community engagement
  • Working closely with the Optometrist and clinical team to ensure smooth patient journeys

This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same.

Hours and flexibility

  • Full-time permanent position
  • Sunday and Monday closed!
  • Tuesday to Friday - 9am to 12pm / 1pm till 5pm
  • Saturday - 9am to 12pm / 1pm to 4pm
  • Closed bank holidays
  • No late evenings
  • Flexibility may be available for the right candidate
