Supply Teacher - Liverpool / Sefton

We are currently recruiting for an experienced and adaptable Supply Teacher to work across a range of schools in Liverpool. This role offers flexibility, with start dates available ASAP or from September, depending on your availability.

We have both full-time and part-time positions available, making this an ideal opportunity for teachers seeking either consistent work or a better work-life balance.

• Working Hours: 08:30 - 15:30
• Contract Type: Full-time and part-time roles available
• Salary: Paid to scale

The Role:As a Supply Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons across a variety of subjects and key stages, depending on your experience. You will be expected to maintain high standards of teaching and learning, ensuring continuity for pupils in the absence of their regular teacher.

Key Responsibilities:

• Planning and delivering lessons in line with the national curriculum
• Marking and assessing pupils' work, providing constructive feedback
• Managing classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies
• Adapting quickly to different school settings and student needs
• Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Following safeguarding procedures at all times

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Previous classroom teaching experience is essential
• Strong lesson planning and organisational skills
• Experience with marking and assessment
• Excellent classroom management abilities
• Flexibility and adaptability to work in different schools
• A current enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
