The Supply Register are proud to be working in partnership with Wade Deacon Trust and are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 2 Teacher for a short-term position at one of their primary schools in Halewood.

The role is initially for one month, starting in September 2026, with the possibility of the position being extended for the right candidate.

We are looking for a passionate teacher who can provide high-quality teaching and learning, create a positive classroom environment and support pupils to achieve their full potential.

The Role

The successful teacher will:

• Teach and plan engaging lessons for a Year 2 class.
• Deliver high-quality, inclusive teaching that meets the needs of all pupils.
• Create a positive and nurturing classroom environment.
• Monitor and assess pupil progress.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff.
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour, learning and achievement.
• Follow school policies and contribute positively to the wider school community.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a teacher who:

• Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Has experience teaching within a primary school setting, ideally in Key Stage 1.
• Has strong knowledge of the Year 2 curriculum.
• Is confident, organised and adaptable.
• Can quickly build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• Has a passion for helping children achieve their full potential.
• Can provide professional references and meet all necessary safeguarding requirements.
