School Administrator

Hays Education are working in partnership with a welcoming and friendly primary school in Liverpool to recruit a School Administrator for a temporary assignment starting in September and running through to October half-term.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a lovely, community-focused school where you'll play a key role in supporting the daily running of the school office while working closely alongside the Business Support Officer.Your new role

• Providing administrative support to the Business Support Officer and wider school team
• Managing pupil records and maintaining accurate data using Arbor
• Answering telephone calls and responding to email enquiries
• Greeting parents, visitors and contractors in a professional and friendly manner
• Supporting attendance and admissions administration
• Processing school communications, letters and newsletters
• Maintaining school databases and filing systems
• Assisting with general office duties to ensure the smooth running of the school

What you'll need to succeed

• Previous experience working within a school office environment
• Recent experience using Arbor is essential
• Strong administrative and organisational skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a small office team
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
