Southport (PR8 Area - Ainsdale, Birkdale, Town Centre)

£14.25 per hour (Paid weekly via PAYE)

We are looking for a reliable Teaching Assistant to work under the guidance of class teachers to support pupils' learning in Key Stage 1 (KS1) or Key Stage 2 (KS2) classrooms. You will play a vital role in keeping students engaged, managing small group interventions, and fostering a positive workspace.

• Delivering targeted literacy and numeracy support to small groups of students.

• Assisting the teacher with classroom preparation, marking support, and resource management.

• Promoting positive behaviour and keeping students focused on their daily tasks.

• Helping create an inclusive classroom atmosphere where every child feels confident.

• Minimum Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or substantial experience in a similar educational role).

• Solid understanding of the primary school curriculum and basic classroom dynamics.

• Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude.
