We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established independent optical practice in Urmston for an experienced or aspiring Dispensing Optician to join their friendly and passionate team!

This is an opportunity to work in a modern independent environment where patient care, personalised styling and premium eyewear are genuinely at the heart of everything they do.

The practice has built an excellent local reputation for delivering a relaxed, award - winning, high-quality customer experience and offering carefully curated independent frame collections that stand out from the high street.

What you'll be doing day to day:

• Dispensing and fitting premium eyewear
• Delivering tailored frame styling consultations
• Helping patients choose frames that suit both their prescription and personality
• Adjustments, fittings and aftercare
• Supporting patients with lens choices including varifocals and specialist lenses
• Working closely with Optometrists and the wider practice team
• Creating a welcoming, enjoyable patient journey from start to finish

The eyewear you'll be working with:

The practice focuses heavily on independent and designer eyewear collections, including bold, fashion-led and artisan brands rather than standard high-street ranges. Current collections include brands such as Wolf Eyewear, Face a Face, Coco Song and Woodys Eyewear.

• Previous optical dispensing experience
• A strong customer-focused approach
• Someone who enjoys styling and premium eyewear
• A team player who enjoys building genuine relationships with patients
• Passion for independent optics and delivering exceptional service
